Nicholas Brennan is a journalist and filmmaker currently based in New York City.
He is the director of the award-winning short films “Hard Rock Havana”, about Cuba’s legendary heavy metal band (Tribeca Film Festival) and “A Marine’s Guide to Fishing”, about a young veteran’s return home (The New York Times). He is currently in post-production on a feature length documentary about Cuba’s metal scene.
Born and raised in New England, he is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where he was a Willard TC Johnson Fellow in the Film & TV program.
He has previously worked for ABC News, The New York Times, HBO and Vice Magazine and for national clients including Budweiser, AT&T, Vans and Jansport.
