Nicholas Brennan is a journalist and filmmaker currently based in New York City.
He is the director of the award-winning short films “A Marine’s Guide to Fishing” and “Hard Rock Havana”.
Born and raised in New England, he is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where he was a Willard TC Johnson Fellow in the Film & TV program.
He has previously worked for ABC News, The New York Times, Current TV, and Vice Magazine (among other publications).
He speaks conversational Spanish, French and has a semester’s worth of Chinese Mandarin under his belt. He is also currently trying to master Haitian Creole.
